Bashar Jackson, also known by Pop Smoke, his stage name Pop Smoke (July 20th 1999-February 19th of 2020) was an American songwriter and rapper. Victor Victor Worldwide signed him. He also recorded for Republic Records. Working in collaboration with UK drill producers 808Melo Axl Beats and Yoz Beatz Pop Smoke rose to popularity for leading his own Brooklyn Drill sound. Welcome to the Party, the first single from the mixtape he released as his debut Meet the Woo released in the summer of 2019. was released by him on April 1, 2019. It is remixed and produced by American rapper Nicki Minaj and British musician Skepta. Both songs came out in the summer of 2019. In April 2019 Pop Smoke released his breakout single Welcome to the Party the lead single of his debut mixtape, Meet the Woo (2019). Then, in August 2019 two versions of the song were made available. One featuring Nicki Minaj while the second was a collaboration with Skepta. In the future, UK drill was used in many of his songs. This was because of the regular collaboration with 808Melo, who is an British drill manufacturer. Mpr Flexin and Dior are two tracks that are well-known are. Following the success of Welcome to the Party and others singles like War together with Lil Tjay & 100k On a Coupe with Calboy he began collaborating with other artists on songs. In December 2019, he worked on Gatti with JackBoys as well as Travis Scott which is the last track on The JackBoys (2019) album by Scott along with Scott and his Cactus Jack members.
